Fishing – Lake Rousseau is a reservoir on the Withlacoochee River and was created when the river was dammed as part of the original barge canal project. Fishing guides regularly report catching 10lb bass, and that’s no fish tale!
Camping – The Ocala National Forest, Paines Praire, Silve Springs and Santos are just a few of the majestic places that you can pitch a tent and commune with nature.
Biking – Santos Trail Head offers world renowned bike trails. You can hop onto the greenway at almost any point along the way and peddle in either direction. You won’t be disappointed.
Hiking – How far can you hike in a day? You’d be surprised how far you can walk once you get going! Start in Marion Oaks, cross the FL Trail Land Bridge and you can go for 5 miles or 100!
